We always like it when a staff member wishes to contribute to the latest news section on our website. Simone Backler (pictured below) is one of the most popular people at Arlington House and when she said that she would like to share the poem “The Care Worker” with our residents and family, we were naturally delighted.

Simone told us “I really like this poem because I treat everybody in the home as if they were my own grandparents, and I would love somebody to treat my grandparents like they do in this poem”.

Some lovely words from Simone and it must be very reassuring for all our residents and their family members.
