Our residents always look forward to Thursday, as it’s hairdressing day at Arlington House. It was busy today in our purpose-built salon as lots of residents took the opportunity for some well-deserved pamper time with Jane – our popular, friendly hairdresser.

Jane has been coming to Arlington House for many years and has struck up a great rapport with all residents, both old and new. It’s always nice to see the salon buzzing with activity, as residents get the chance to chat with familiar faces in the waiting area, before discussing and agreeing their style with Jane. Jane commented “I always love coming to Arlington House as the residents are lovely and the staff are always so welcoming. The new salon is ideal as residents can switch-off and relax, and I have all the facilities to deliver a professional job.”

A big thank you for today goes to Keli – our Senior Care Assistant. Keli did a super job of combining her daily duties with some photography work. Keli personally escorted many residents to the salon and snapped them in action – see pictures below. Keli said “I really like it when our residents visit the hair salon – it gives them something nice to look forward to and they always come back looking so stylish.”
