We go to great lengths to improve the lives of our residents who are living with dementia – it’s a big reason why Arlington House stands out from other homes.
The Arlington Debate Club is a new activity which we started in 2021. It gives all residents the chance to have their say on a variety of different topics.
Our activities programme has been designed to ensure our residents’ five senses – smell, taste, touch, sound and sight – are stimulated and nurtured on a regular basis.
It’s been a busy and varied year on the activities front, both with 121 and group sessions.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Family Members Customer Satisfaction Survey 2020. This is the best set of results we have ever received - as we scored five-stars across all categories.
We’re not going to lie, it’s been a tough few months, but we’re pleased to report that we are all safe and well.
With the current Covid-19 crisis, people are finally starting to realise the vital role that carers perform within society. So, when Kate Floyd (Senior Carer) recently reached her 20-year anniversary at Arlington House – we thought her hard-work, dedication and longevity needed to be celebrated with a special blog.
All our staff and residents had a fabulous Christmas and New Year at Arlington House.
Our brand new brochure has landed and has already got people talking.
It’s been a busy summer for Phil Lindley – our ever-reliable Maintenance Manager – as he’s had a few large outdoor projects on the go.
